7 month old not interested in bottle

We started feeding our 7 month old fruits and veggies throughout the day (NO cereal) The past couple of days he has no interest in his bottle. Pushes it away, cries and even throws it when I let him hold it himself. He does great with the food! Chows it down and love it. But I am worried about dehydration and his poop is becoming very hard. Is this normal when you begin food? Ideas of what to do? Thank you mamas!!!

The rule with solids is this: breast or bottle FIRST, then solids foods. Up until age 1 the majority of nutrients needs to come from breastmilk or formula.

It sounds like your little one is possibly getting filled up on the solids so has no room for the bottle. I agree with what Pam said above, it is breast or bottle before solids. Sometimes solids can cause hard bm's as their system is not used to it. We always backed off a bit when this happened and let their system take some time to adjust and then introduced a little slower the next time.
