My son just turned 12 months and he's been off formula for about 3 weeks now. Therefore, we've upped his solids intake since he's been off the formula, 3 meals and two snacks a day, with about 12 oz or so of cow's milk/day. It just seems like he eats like a bird, that he doesn't eat much until he's pushing away the food. He's always been on the small side (5th percentile or below, its in his genes also) so I worry that he is not getting the calories/intake that he needs. His 12 month well check is next week and I am worried the Dr won't be happy with his weight. What do I do? How do I get him to consume more?? He's more interested in running around off the calories than consuming them! Any advice on the situation is appreciated!
