What else can I do to get the ammonia out of the cloth and pocket diapers with microfiber inserts? Would a wet pale method help? And what is the best insert to use? Does all cloth diapering have this problems ?

I am cloth diapering my 22 mo. Old and using pocket diapers with microfiber inserts. They stink so bad. They are full of ammonia. Tonight I boiled them before putting them in the wash machine. What else can I do to get the ammonia out of them? Would a wet pale method help keep the ammonia out of them. Also what is the best insert to use or does all cloth diapering have this problem. He can't use disposable diapers or he breaks out but here lately when he gets a diaper change he has a lil blood in his diaper and where his pee comes out looks sore. We put salve on it. He has been to doctor and he doesn't have uti. So it has to be from the diaper. Thanks for any help.
